10-Second Installation
Ready to use with zero configuration: simply extract the portable package to install. It includes all dependencies, and deleting the folder uninstalls it.
No C Drive Space Used
We only provide the portable version, focusing exclusively on portability. It supports booting from a USB drive and is fully compatible with Windows 7 through 11. As it is a portable version, we do not recommend extracting it to the C: drive.

Ten Years of Technical Accumulation
The underlying kernel design philosophy of the VS Code you use today dates back over a decade and may no longer be suitable for the present
Foundation
The most significant time investment stems from twenty years of programming experience and tool usage. Specifically, the use and kernel-level understanding of various programming tools like VS Code from 2015 to 2025 form the foundation of all these innovations.
Origin
Open-source repository established: github.com/gh555com/qqq. Initially, the goal was simply to create a VS Code plugin to enable "What You See Is What You Get, Paste Anything," allow access to directories outside the project, and address underlying IO limitations in VS Code.
Forced Launch
Things didn't go smoothly. As a contributor to the Microsoft community, I faced extreme disdain and disrespect from Microsoft, which led me to decide to develop my own IDE and discard the old tools.
Full-scale development began on the C Launcher, Rust Engine, Shell, and Payload, designing standards from scratch without relying on any existing IDEs or inheriting any kernels.

01Data Autonomy
Traditional view: User history follows the account and resides in cloud black boxes. We believe history is a user asset that should be searchable and reusable offline locally.
02The endgame is not a plugin, but an OS-level reconstruction
Traditional view: Copilot-style plugins are sufficient. We believe the plugin approach has hit its ceiling: high tool friction, unclear data ownership, and lost long-session context. We believe only AI-native architecture has a future.
03Context: Users have the right to know and govern

We found no such tradition, so we created it: no installation required, no C drive space consumed, no heavy baggage (no reason to get heavier; we even support Win7).
